Parma Calcio expresses deepest condolences for the passing of Dr. Massimo Manara, former team doctor of Parma Calcio. He was the current medical director of Sampdoria. Dr. Manara was born in Felino and started his career as a team doctor of Parma Calcio in the 1990s. He was specialized in Sports Medicine at the University of Bologna in 1996 and held the role of Medical Director of the Club until the 2007/2008 season. He later worked as a team doctor for Parma, Milan, Spezia, Al Nasr and Roma as well as the medical director of the United Arab Emirates national team. Jesper Fredberg, CEO Area Football of Sampdoria, expressed his condolences for the passing of Dr. Manara, describing him as a great professional and a person of high moral value. Parma Calcio remembers Dr. Manara as a great doctor and a great man. His passing is a great loss for the Parma Calcio family and the entire football community.
